Kent Place School
Keertana Talla is the Founder of the Lunch Crisis Organization. She is a senior at Kent Place School and is recognized for her social service work and is known an advocate for her peers. She started the organization when she was 15 years old and has made a significant impact on countless number of families in New Jersey. Through Lunch Crisis, Keertana strives to raise awareness about lunch shaming, raise money to erase students’ lunch debt, and bring change to the school lunch system.

Tanmayee Talla is a freshman at Kent Place School, and she loves helping others. Tanmayee is very excited to be a part of such an impactful cause. She is enthusiastic to help the founder, Keertana, impact students in need right near her. Tanmayee currently serves as an Administrative Coordinator. In her role, she is responsible for fostering communication between members of the organization. She is also responsible for maintaining paperwork and the organization's records.

Sofia is a high school senior at Stone Ridge High School, who has passionately fought for justice in the face of inequality. Currently she is serving as President of Maryland Chapter. she loves helping others.Whether it be a student is being branded by a red band or being kept from graduating, Sofia is willing to fight with her peers to put an end to this cruel practice and hopes to create a better school environment in districts of Maryland Chapter.,

Ramsai is a sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia who is committed to creating change in his community. After recognizing the prevalence of the lunch crisis in Atlanta, Ramsai joined the Lunch Crisis Organization in hopes of improving the lunch systems for schools across the country.

Emily is a senior from Colorado whose passions range from photography to community service. As a strong advocate of equality, Emily hopes to create a better school environment in districts in Colorado through the Lunch Crisis Organization.

Teja is a high school senior from Alabama who strives to outlaw lunch shaming in Alabama. He is mobilizing his peers to create a strong group of students to begin putting pressure on Alabama legislators. His hope is to enforce a bill that outlaws lunch shaming in Alabama within the year.
